Brief Summary of research: 

Microbial species are everywhere, and they are not alone - they reside in communities, interacting with other species, hosts and the environment. These communities are important to our health, the health of animals and plants, to the food we eat and to the environment. 

Specific research topics related to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology:

Our goal is to better understand the principles underlying microbial species assembly, function and evolution, especially under stress and perturbations. To do so, we integrate classical microbiology, high-throughput sequencing, microfluidics, microscopy and computational methods.
