Brief Summary of research:
Solid-State Ionics, Polymer Science, Electrochemistry, Thin films, Nanofabrication, and Energy storage
Specific research topics related to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology:
Our group investigate ionic transport behavior within multiphase organic (polymers), inorganic (ceramics) and hybrid solid-state nanostructured electrolytes, as well as applying them in electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems. We use advance thin film self-assembly and nanofabrication methods to design structured electrolytes with deterministically defined ionic pathways and interfaces, that can be later visualize and quantify at the nanoscale level.
