Brief Summary of research:

I am studying the dynamics of the terrestrial carbon cycle with respect to climate change alterations. Using a set of experimental and mathematical tools, we are employing micro-scale observations using microfluidic devices to observe the complex interactions of microorganisms, water, nutrient availability, and environmental conditions in the soil matrix.

Specific research topics related to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology:

I am planning to leverage the wide range of capabilities at the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center to design and fabricate various experimental micro-scale equipment. This includes soil-like microfluidic chips, root systems macro-fluidic devices, and customized vessels to support my measuring equipment.

Therefore, I believe my research aligns well with the capabilities and vision of the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center, and I would be delighted to join as a member.
