Brief Summary of research:
My main research `goal is to advance the understanding and control of noise and coherence in open quantum systems, both for the study of fundamental science and for advancing quantum technology.
I am fascinated with theoretical open questions in the field of quantum optics, including exploring the limits to noise reduction and enhancement, utilizing symmetry-protected states and modal degeneracies, and developing novel noise-resilient control protocols for quantum computation.
Specific research topics related to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology:
- Studying resonance phenomena in open quantum systems
- Exploring rapid yet robust protocols for quantum information processing. In the following, I describe some of my past and future work on each of these topics in more detail
