Brief Summary of research:
In my research group at the Hebrew University, we focus on finding new photoactive material families with promising optoelectronic properties. Using state-of-the-art spectroscopy tools, we aim to uncover the fundamental defect distributions in these materials. By doing so, we enable a new approach that enables contact-less careful characterization of the structure-property relations of new materials already in the initial stages of material synthesis and screening, in order to uncover their limitations and understand how to improve them in the future.
Specific research topics related to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology:
We prepare sub-micron semiconductor thin films from solution-processing methods such as spin-coating. We characterize them in the nano center using XRD, Profilometer, Raman and Electron microscopy.
