Polymers play a vital role in the world of medicine. In our lab, we focus on the development of new polymers and formulations thereof to be used in enhanced and novel therapies. Our current focus is on the development of injectable biopolymers extended delivery of anticancer and antibiotic drugs, anti-depressants, cannabinoid formulations and stability, gene delivery, tissue engineering scaffolds, antimicrobial polymers and small molecules, agriculture and cosmetic  applications of controlled release, oral delivery of insoluble drugs, novel antimicrobials, oral delivery of proteins, forensic science and much more.
